Specific project work included installing and maintaining a dewatering system and water treatment system to facilitate the construction of a wastewater treatment facility with a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) complex and SBR feed pump station. LRT installed a custom wellpoint dewatering system consisting of 160 wellpoints and supplemental sumps. LRT also designed and installed a water treatment system rated to treat flowrates of up to 500 gallons per minute (gpm) and manage total suspended solids (TSS) concentrations prior to discharge under a NYDEC SPDES discharge permit.
